The French company Early Flicker (or E-Flicker), which is dedicated to trade online t-shirts, will be under fire by anonymous. The hacktivists declared war on the business of the company after it has registered the logo and slogan of the group, the National Institute of Industrial Property in France. The notice is left by hackers in a video posted online (which we have reproduced below), which state that "the arrogance and ignorance" of what was done by the Early Flicker "will not go unpunished." Promise not to give rest to the business of online brand and demand the withdrawal of registration - that makes the logo and slogan belonging to E-Flicker under French law - and a public apology.
"The Anonymous will devastate any business that have Internet and 99% will not stop until the registration has been revoked and is made a public apology," hear the message uploaded to YouTube.
In a message posted on Twitter yesterday, the group added that its logo was already registered under the Creative Commons (CC) - which allows the use by third parties without authorization by the holders of property rights.
"For those of copyright trolls, all anonymous logos are registered under the creative commons license. So, good luck trying to get a trademark," reads the tweet signed by AnonymousIRC.
