Samsung ordered to pay 800 million to Apple

A patent court of the United States ruled that Samsung must pay Apple billion dollars (about 798.9 million euros) in damages for intellectual property. A jury of nine members decided that several devices Samsung violated patents and design software from Apple. Samsung also sought damages for patent violção but not answered in the claims. The court in San Jose, California, as reported by the 'BBC', 700 issues had to analyze this legal battle between the two technology giants. Apple originally wanted 2.5 billion dollars (about 2 billion) for damages. Samsung entered the process asking for 519 million dollars (about 41 million). In previous similar cases, Samsung has appealed the court's decision.
